EXAcor - Quality Assurance of Treatment Plans

EXAcor is a powerful toolkit for image comparison and analysis. It may be used for TPS commissionning or quality assurance of complex beam beam delivery.

  • Integrated data flow
EXAcor software  can be provided as integrated into the ISOgray treatment planning system, thus facilitating the exchange of planning data.
The EXAcor toolkit addresses three major steps of quality assurance procedures:
- validation of the beam data library prior to the TPS commissioning
- simulation of IMRT beams prior to patient irradiation
- follow-up of the stability of treatment units physical data

 

  • Input Data

Radiation Images: EXAcor accepts scanned dosimetric films as well as portal images, encoded in any format. User-friendly functionalities facilitate the alignment of radiation images with computed images. The converion from optical densities to dose values is fully supported.

Phantom: The EXAcor toolkit is delivered with a set of numerical phantoms modelizing most common geometrical and physical properties of irradiation phantoms. DOSIsoft generates specific user's phantoms, upon request.

Powerful analysis indices that integrate dosimetric and spatial information are calculated to facilitate decision making:
- Relative difference
- Normalized Agreement Test (NAT)
- Distance to Agreement (DTA)
- Gamma index
