Adapt the accuracy of calculation to clinical complexity
Algorithmic complexity.
ISOgray offers 3 different calculation algorithms, covering 3 levels of physical and mathematical complexity:
• 3dSAR, with and without correction for
heterogeneities
• Point kernel superposition, with voxelic correction of heterogeneities
• Monte Carlo, based on the Penelope code.
Algorithms are fully parallelized, and computation time is fully compatible with routine clinical use.
Calculations adapted to your plans.
Depending on the planning stage, the user may calculate the dose at a point, along a profile, in a plane of interest or in the whole volume of interest.
Protontherapy.
In partnership with the Centre de Protonthérapie d’Orsay (Institut Curie), we are also developing the calculation algorithms dedicated to protontherapy, based on the pencil beam and the ray tracing methods. The acquired expertise will then be extended to treatment with Carbon ions, in collaboration with the French hadrontherapy project Etoile.
Innovation.
In partnership with the CEA and Bull, DOSIsoft is currently investigating super-fast Monte Carlo dose calculations on a unique 100-processor computer. This exclusive system will perform complete a dose calculation within minutes.
