Breast cancer counts for 30% of all treatments realized in radiotherapy units. Contouring the entire mammary gland is therefore fastidious, subject to human variability and poorly compatible with clinical routine (*).

Exclusivity.
DOSIsoft brings an exclusive solution by offering the automatic contouring of the complete mammary gland. In a fully automatic mode, the method is based on the detection and labelling of external landmarks. In a semi-automatic mode, the operator is only requested to determine the internal and external roots on a single slice. In both cases, the entire breast contouring is performed within seconds.

Automated planning.
This exclusive technique is combined with the automatic positioning of the two tangential beams. In a mouse click, you have realized the more time-consuming part of your treatment plan.

Accuracy of dosimetry.
ISOgray automatic mammary gland contouring tool also leads to a new outlook to dose calculation: by restricting the computation of DVHs to the mammary volume actually covered by the irradiation beams, accurate and quantitative comparisons can be performed between treatments.
