ISOgray makes IMRT easier
Constraints.
You select and combine the most relevant constraints with regard to your clinical case: dose to achieve and minimal dose to the PTV, maximal dose the OARs with volumetric repartition of the dose by HDV manipulation.
Express your expertise.
When associating a weight to each constraint, you modulate priorities and orient the solution determined by the inverse problem solving algorithm. You can therefore focus on protecting the OARs, maximizing the dose received by the PTV, or on optimizing the dose homogeneity. By iterating on constraints and weight, you get closer with each step to the expected solution.
Inverse.
ISOgray implements the conjugated gradients method to solve the inverse problem, i.e. to determine the treatment plan from the predefined constraints. Widely used in numerous optimization systems, it increases the probability at achieving the global optimum, and thus at offering the best possible treatment to your patients.
Sequencers.
ISOgray IMRT manages the physical and mechanical specificities of major MLC vendors: Varian dynamic mode, Elekta and Siemens Step & Shoot, as well as systems equipped with micro-multileaves.
Compensating filters.
In order to deliver the prescribed dose to small targets with the greatest accuracy, ISOgray sends to the cutting system the exact shape of compensating filters requested for treatment.
Quality assurance.
Precision is at the core of IMRT. This is why ISOgray offers quality assurance tools that facilitate the experimental verification of dose distributions. Totally integrated into the TPS, you have access to the gamma index and the superposition or the subtraction of dosimetry maps. These functionalities provide essential quantitative data that facilitate planning control and treatment decision.
