DOSIsoft is specialized in the development, sale and maintenance of treatment planning systems for radiotherapy..
DOSIsoft has been created in 2002 from the partnership between Institut Gustave Roussy and Institut Curie, two major cancer treatment centers and pioneers in planning systems for radiotherapy.
The two institutes initially developed their own software solutions to address internal needs, DOSIGRAY and ISIS, which were commercialized in the 80’s and cover today 28% of the French market. The expertise of the two institutes has also convinced European cancer centers as well as the IAEA which distributes ISIS and ISOGRAY in emerging countries.
DOSIsoft has been created to fulfil three objectives :
Combine efforts in research and development at both institutes, |
Ensure the maintenance and further development of the DOSIGRAY platform, |
Develop a brand new TPS according to up-to-date high standards in medicine and physics and commercially distribute it.

During its first year, the company obtained grants from public institutions to organize three years of research and development. This financial investment has resulted in the commercialization of three software platforms for contouring (IMAgo), virtual simulation (SIMAgo) and dosimetry (ISOgray), whose quality is acknowledged by clinical users.
DOSIsoft applies a strategy of continuous innovation and is implicated in numerous French and European research projects aimed at optimizing radiotherapy planning tools and widely spreading them so that most patients can benefit.
In parallel, DOSIsoft starts up an international economical expansion by building a network of foreign representatives, especially in EU and Turkey.
In 2006, DOSIsoft counts 25 on-site collaborators, including 18 PhD’s in physics, mathematics, computer science and computer systems. Five engineers and research scholars perform external missions at partner research institutes and radiotherapy centers.
