Proton TPS DOSIsoft, in collaboration with the Protontherapy Center of the Curie Institute (Orsay-France), has developed an expertise in protontherapy treatment planning. DOSIsoft today offers adaptable proton TPS as an independent system or as a standard ISOgray system combining protons, photons, electrons and brachytherapy. Benefiting from the whole range of tools developed for image processing, structure and beam management the proton TPS is fully adpated to specific needs of protontherapy centers using fixed beam lines and gantries either in static or dynamic mode. The dose calculation engine offers a level of accuracy consistent with the requirements of this highly selective radiotherapy technique. The DOSIsoft proton TPS was installed at the new Curie Institute - Orsay Protontherapy Center. It was commissioned jointly with the IBA cyclotron gantry, leading to the first patient treatment in October 2010. It is now used satisfactorily for all patients under treatment.
